It’s hard to believe that a year has already gone by!
My name is Zoë Bilicki, and I started working as a Marketing Specialist for the innovative machine manufacturing company KOMAREK back in May 2025. Now it is May 2026, and I’ve already learned and done so much that I’d like to share with you.
One of the first things that comes to mind is my experiences with trade shows. While I had a background in designing tradeshow booths previously, I wasn’t as familiar with the logistics side of reserving, planning, and shipping for shows. That sort of new responsibility can be a little daunting, but under KOMAREK’s patient tutelage I was able to quickly learn and familiarize myself with the staples of planning shows and booths. I’m happy to say that we’ve successfully attended eight shows this year and there’s more to come.
Another skill I’ve acquired during my time with KOMAREK is knowledge of WordPress. A large part of my responsibility is helping maintain and update our website. KOMAREK has been supportive in helping me learn how it works, both with first-hand experience and in taking online classes.
On top of all of that, I’ve grown to become more knowledgeable about briquetting, compaction granulation, and high-pressure grinding (or HPGRs). I’m able to describe in more succinct terms what exactly are the differences between these different types of material handling processes, how they work, and why they’re important. KOMAREK’s briquetting machines and all the services they offer are efficient, varied, and long-lasting.
There’s plenty of projects coming up this year that I am very excited to complete. This includes our first-ever Open House and Technical Conference that’s being hosted in October, alongside a video we’re producing that will give you an exciting up-close and personal look into KOMAREK’s comprehensive portfolio of work and services.
I’m so honored to be working at this amazing company and am looking forward to what the future holds. If you’d like to read my previous blog post from last year, click the button below. I’ll see you all in year two!
